Spring exhibit (Totems): See Denise for more details.

Blandy: We will participate to Blandy Plant sale on Mother's day weekend. Let Lin know if you are interested.

Mayfest in Strasburg: We are working on a reproduction of the Mayfest pot. Be ready to help in any way you can as this is our fund raiser.

Museum of the Shenandoah Valley Pottery show, June 12, 13 and 14: This is our second year doing it and it looks like it is growing with demonstrations and talk on clay. Emily is the point of contact.

Empty Bowls: NOVEMBER - Get those bowls finished soon. They are due at the October meeting.
We need a rough count so that the Laurel Center can start selling tickets. Please let Mizue and I know how many bowls you are donating.
This year we are asking 20 bowls if you want to participate to the Holiday Show. Number may go down if we have a good number of participants. If you are new or fairly new to pottery, you are welcome to donate a few bowls and we will organize a table that you can share to sell your pots at the show. We also need volunteers to help with this event. We can use your help to either help set up or clean up. It is always a wonderful event to attend so even if you couldn't make any bowls, your help is greatly appreciated. Bring your bowls to Mizue on or before the October meeting.

Holiday Show:

November 28th and 29th (Saturday and Sunday after Thanksgiving) 10:00 to 4:00.

Fee: $30 to participate and 10% of the sales to cover expenses. We also encourage you to donate 20 bowls for the Winchester Laurel Shelter Empty Bowl supper (above).

You will not have to be present at all times. Aurelie will make a schedule, just let her know if Sunday morning is not good for you when signing up. Set up starts on Friday at 4pm. Let Aurelie know if you are planning on participating and how many tables you would like: 1, 2 or 3 (if available). (540 665 83 96)
