The Guild

BIO-

Stoneware and Redware were made during the 19th Century by many American potters.

Nancy has been a hobby potter for more than thirty years but, it was not until she worked as an historic interpreter and 19th Century potter at Waterloo Village in Stanhope, NJ that she became interested in Early American Pottery.

Since moving to Virginia she joined the Shenandoah Potters Guild, and in addition to selling her wares at selected shows and Museums, she also teaches at Loudoun Academy of the Arts.

Nancy Frank passed away August 2009. She will be missed by SPG for her beautiful work, her willingness to share her craft, and her sparkling personality.
We give our condolences to Nancy's family, and hope that they know our thoughts are with them through the days to come.
And we give thanks to Nancy for how much joy she brought to our little world of clay.
